How would you describe the atmosphere at Texas State?

Homey. From the moment I stepped onto campus, I knew I was where I belonged. The diversity of the campus, and just how friendly everyone is, contributes to this atmosphere! Also, the amount of opportunities to get involved, meet new people, and discover your passions will allow you to find your place at Texas State!

What is your favorite tradition at Texas State?

The graduation river jump! Texas State has some of the best traditions, and jumping into the river after graduating is one of the best! I participated in this tradition when I graduated and it is one of my favorite memories from my time at Texas State!

What are three things you love about Texas State?

The river! One of the things Texas State is most known for is the San Marcos River that runs through campus. Sewell Park is a great area to swim, hangout by the river, and play some outdoor sports!

There are so many helpful resources! Coming to college as a first-generation student, I was able to adapt quickly thanks to these! Texas State wants all their students to succeed and provides the resources to make that happen!

The campus! Texas State has the most beautiful campus. From the hill country views, to the various buildings that house their own uniqueness within them, Texas State is a beautiful place to be!
