F-1/J-1 Student Visas
Current Student Visa holders and first-time applicants must complete their immigration actions to transfer their SEVIS record or get their first I-20 and visa. For more information, contact Texas State's International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS).

Register for New Student Orientation (NSO)
International students are required to attend a two-part orientation the week before classes start. The first part will be New Student Orientation, hosted by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, and will be an opportunity to meet your academic advisor and register for classes. The second part is hosted by the International Office and will allow you to learn about support services and campus resources. Please note that you must register for both sessions. Get Vaccinated
As a new Bobcat, you are required by Texas law to provide proof of immunization against bacterial meningitis or an affidavit of exemption. To assist you in complying with the law, Texas State has contracted with Magnus Health Technology, Inc. to collect and verify your medical documents. Learn more about meningitis immunization.

From on-campus housing to off-campus options, we have resources available to help you find your home at Texas State! You may be required to live on campus. Please visit the International Office's Housing Options page for more details on housing requirements and options.

Send Your Final Transcripts
Whether you're finishing high school or are attending classes at another university or community college, we'll need an official transcript showing your final grades. Once you've completed course work, submit an official copy of your transcript to:

Review Your Evaluated Transcripts
If you submitted official transcripts of course work completed at other colleges or universities, you view the results of the evaluation in our Transfer Course Equivalency System.
If you have submitted official college transcripts and want to see how your credits will transfer to Texas State, you may view your articulated course work in our Transfer Course Equivalency System.

Activate your NetID
Your NetID, along with your password, allows you to log into Texas State online services. You received a NetID when you applied to Texas State.
