How would you describe the atmosphere at Texas State?
Texas State has a welcoming environment and works hard to make everyone feel like they're at home. It's a big enough campus where you can meet a lot of people, and small enough to get to know others on a first name basis. Texas State is great at fostering the Bobcat Community!
What do you like best about San Marcos?
I like how San Marcos feels like a small town and a big city at the same time. There is always something to do in town, such as shopping downtown or at the outlets, good restaurants, community and sporting events, and experiencing the San Marcos River. The town is also located between San Antonio and Austin which is also great!
Why did you choose to become an admissions counselor?
I like being able to help students make the transition from high school to college. Choosing to attend college is an important decision for many students, and being there to help them is a rewarding experience. I love to see the excitement on students faces when they decide to attend Texas State and be part of a campus that has a lot to offer.
