Nutrition and Foods Visits

At a Nutrition and Foods Visit you will have the opportunity to learn more specifically about the degree programs in Nutrition and Foods offered by the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences. You will also be able to experience our campus and get a glimpse into life as a Bobcat.

What to Expect

The Nutrition and Foods Visits are uniquely designed to provide you with
information about the academic and cultural environment at Texas State. The
program includes a student-guided tour of our San Marcos campus, an information session with details about the Nutrition major and student organization, and interactions with students and faculty. You will also tour the Family and Consumer Sciences Building, where most Nutrition classes are taught and our teaching and research laboratories are housed.
