College of Science and Engineering Visits

At a Science and Engineering Visit you will have the opportunity to learn more specifically about the diverse range of STEM majors available, including biology, chemistry and biochemistry, computer science, engineering and engineering technology, mathematics, and physics, as well as research opportunities at Texas State. You will also be able to experience our campus and get a glimpse into life as a Bobcat.

What to Expect

Science and Engineering Visits are uniquely designed to provide you with information about the academic and cultural environment at Texas State. The program includes a student-guided tour of our San Marcos campus and a specialized information session with details about programs offered by the College of Science and Engineering. You will also take a tour of Bruce & Gloria Ingram Hall, the university's largest academic building, with cutting-edge "active learning" classrooms and campus-accessible Maker Space.
