At our Transfer Information Sessions, you can expect to learn more about Texas State University and get a glimpse of life as a Bobcat. These programs are uniquely designed to assist incoming transfer students and are offered virtually and in-person at both our San Marcos and Round Rock campuses. Transfer students are also invited to attend major-specific Academic Visits.

In-Person
San Marcos Campus Sessions
San Marcos sessions last about 3 to 3.5 hours and include a student-guided campus tour, presentations on transfer admission requirements and off-campus housing, and a Q&A with an Admissions Counselor.
In-Person
Round Rock Campus Sessions
Round Rock sessions last about 2 to 2.5 hours and include a guided campus tour, presentations on transfer admission requirements and student success, and a Q&A with an Admissions Counselor.
Online
Virtual Sessions
Virtual sessions last about an hour and include a transfer admissions presentation followed by a Q&A with an Admissions Counselor.
