San Marcos

The first and largest Texas State University campus opened in 1903 to just over 300 students as the Southwest Texas State Normal School. Now at over 517 acres in the heart of San Marcos, it is home to more than 200 undergraduate and graduate degree programs.

Round Rock

With over 100 acres of space, the Round Rock Campus (RRC) has room to grow! Dozens of degree programs are offered from the first year to graduation and beyond. Established in 1996, the RRC is a hub for health professions and STEM programs in central Texas.
