Texas Is a Great Place to Learn

San Marcos is conveniently located between two of the largest U.S. cities, Austin and San Antonio. Austin is the place for you to explore parks, visit world-class museums, and celebrate at music, film, and food festivals. San Antonio is a historic city that’s been around since before Texas was Texas. Stroll along the famous River Walk, sample some of the best tacos in the country, or hop onto a thrilling roller coaster at one of San Antonio’s popular amusement parks. Together, Austin, San Antonio, and San Marcos comprise the Innovation Corridor—the center of commerce, technology, and education in Texas. Internships and Optional Practical Training opportunities are abundant in Texas, and the state has one of the top-ranked economies in the nation.
